The Struggle to Find “My Thing”

When I started my entrepreneurial journey, I threw myself into the world of workshops and trainings, both online and in person. I was rushing from one end of the country to the other, going to marketing intensives and sales seminars. Every time, I arrived with so much hope that this would be the one to show me how to find “my thing.”

You might recognise what came next: the infamous formula. You know the one. It’s on slides, handouts, and whiteboards everywhere:

“I help [specific audience] do [specific thing] without [specific pain point].”

And every time I saw it, I’d think, “Sure, I can write sentences. But if I knew what to put in those gaps, I wouldn’t need to be here!”

Eventually, it dawned on me: the answers I was looking for weren’t outside of me. No workshop or expert could hand me the blueprint for my unique voice, because my voice wasn’t something to be found. It was something to be felt.

Turning Inward

To uncover the work that was mine to bring forth, I had to stop looking outward and start listening inward.

I had to give myself the space to ask, What do I stand for? What do I want to say? How do I want to help?

And as I tuned in, a clarity started to emerge – a clarity that came not from external formulas, but from a deep, internal knowing. I began to see that the only way forward was to stand in my truth and boldly declare:

This is who I am. This is what I do. This is how I help. Do you want it?

The Birth of the Wild Voice™ Process

At the time, I was living in a wonderfully witchy little cottage on the wilds of Dartmoor. It was there, amidst the misty moors and ancient stones, that the seeds of the Wild Voice process began to take root.

This process has since helped thousands of entrepreneurs connect with their deepest purpose, uncover their magic, and craft potent messaging that attracts their just-right clients – the people they’re truly here to serve. I’ve also trained the first cohort of Wild Voice Facilitators who are taking this work out into the world.
